Liquid biopsy is repeatable and minimally invasive, facilitating monitoring from initial diagnosis throughout progression and metastasis, identifying clinically relevant biomarkers. Literature shows that CTCs are potentially more representative of cancer heterogeneity than single tissue samples. CTCs enriched by the Parsortix system are intact and label-free. They can be utilised in a wide variety of downstream analyses, providing critical insights in cancer research through proteomic, genomic and transcriptomic testing.
